Our Lady of the Lake University

Project Overview: "The Reflection of You" is a powerful branding campaign created for Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU), a Catholic, Hispanic-serving institution in San Antonio, Texas, known for fostering spiritual, personal, and professional growth in its students. The campaign aimed to capture the essence of the university's commitment to personal transformation and leadership grounded in faith and wisdom.

Process: We began the project by conducting extensive focus groups to deeply understand the values and aspirations of OLLU's diverse student body. Following this research, we utilized AI-generated storyboards to explore various concepts and visuals. After careful consideration, we settled on the "Reflection of You" concept, which symbolically represents the university as a mirror of each student's journey toward becoming a leader in service.

The reflection shot became a focal point of the campaign, symbolizing introspection and growth. As the Director of Photography and Graphic Designer, I faced the challenge of crafting a shot that was visually striking and deeply meaningful. This required developing multiple concepts and experimenting with different techniques to achieve the perfect reflection that resonated with the campaign's theme.

Role and Contributions:
- Director of Photography: Led the visual storytelling, ensuring every frame reflected the university's mission of transforming lives through faith-based education.
- Graphic Designer: Developed cohesive visual elements that enhanced the campaign's message across various print and digital platforms.

This campaign not only strengthened OLLU's brand identity but also showcased the university's unique role in shaping future knowledgeable and compassionate leaders.
